As well as having lots of fun on the slopes, the primary purpose of this event is to raise vital funds for two charities really close to Mike’s heart. Wings for Life are aiming to find a cure for spinal cord injury and the Matt Hampson Foundation are supporting those who are living with serious injuries. We’ll be asking participants to secure sponsorship for their participation in Mikey’s Mountain Miles, this is a challenge after all! Every skier will be tasked with a fundraising target of £2,000 and will be sponsored per km they complete – there will be an awesome prize for the best fundraiser! 

We will give you all the support you need to set up your fundraising page. 

All fundraising from Mikey’s Mountain Miles will be donated to the two benefitting charities: 70% to Wings for Life UK Spinal Cord Research Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1128804) and 30% to Matt Hampson Foundation (Registered Charity No. 1139823).
